The Contour Adjustable Bed product line underwent a complete redesign in January of 2008 to offer our customers the finest and most advanced adjustable bed on the market today. Our sleep system has been re-engineered from top to bottom, inside and out to create the finest, cutting edge product for consumers who expect nothing but the best to help them achieve a quality night’s sleep, improve their intimate experiences and enjoy comfort any time of day.

Our Mattresses

We have researched and tested countless types and styles of mattresses on bodies of all sizes and weights. The end result is a revolutionary new mattress that is making bedding manufacturers across the country sit up and take notice. Our mattress is the newest and most innovative replaceable pillow top mattress available in the United States. Why is that important? A Contour adjustable mattress combines the long term support benefits of an innerspring mattress with all the comfort and advantages of a pillow top model. But what makes our mattress unique is that you get to choose the comfort and feel of the mattress. On our Platinum and Premier models, each customer can have the insert of their mattress be as soft or firm as they require. Partners who have a dual bed system can each choose their own insert for personalized comfort. And, if your preferences change over time there’s no need to buy a new mattress - simply change out the insert!

Our uniquely designed mattress has been specially created to allow it to bend over and over for years of adjustable comfort and the encasement is constructed using a state of the art, hot glue laminating process. This technique prevents mattress components from shifting and interfering with one another during the thousands of flexes a Contour mattress goes through during a lifetime of use.

Platinum Mattress

Our top of the line Platinum mattress is made with a luxurious super elastic stretch knit fabric that is quilted with a 1" soft polyurethane foam, and a layer of fire retardant polyester fiber. The mattress uses a 660 coil count pocketed inner spring encased in a continuous non-woven product and is constructed with 14 gauge wire. The spring is encased with high quality firm foam to provide greater edge support. The top and bottom of the encasement are covered with a firm polyester fiber pad. The individual pockets provide the greatest ability to flex and remain stable over many years of use. At the top 1/3 of the mattress border, there is a heavy duty envelope style zipper sewn into the border that allow the use of Comfort inserts. The Platinum comes with two choices of pillow tops: Luxurious Latex for a softer feel or Contourpedic memory foam for firmer support. A fire retardant non-skid fabric on the bottom of the mattress helps prevent mattress movement on the base.

Premier Mattress

Our most popular model, the Premier, has a stretch knit fabric cover quilted with a 1" soft polyurethane foam. It has a 330 coil inner spring unit with a foam encasement. The coils are an offset design which provides better hinging action and are constructed with 12.5 gauge wire. The inner spring is encased with high quality firm foam to provide greater edge support. The top and bottom of the encasement are covered with a firm polyester fiber pad. At the top 1/3 of the mattress border, there is a heavy duty envelope style zipper sewn in to the border that will allow the use of Comfort Inserts. A fire retardant non-skid fabric helps prevent mattress movement on the base.

All mattresses conform to DOC FF 4-72 (US Government Mattress Flammability Standards) and 16 CFR Part 1633 and 1632 (US Government Standard for the Flammability of Mattress Sets). Coil counts are based on industry standard for full size beds (54x74).

Our Bases

Contour Adjustable Bases are made in modern, state-of-the-art plants using advanced manufacturing techniques. The same expensive parts and manufacturing methodology, quality control and care used to manufacture adjustable hospital beds and dental chairs are used in the construction of Contour beds. Component parts are carefully assembled and rigorously tested for long life and reliability.

The bed's high-strength steel frame is protected from rust and corrosion by dipping in non-toxic lead free enamel paint. Hubbell Linear Actuators (lift motors) that elevate and lower the head and foot of Contour Beds are designed to operate reliably, smoothly, quietly and virtually maintenance free for the life of the bed. Attractive industrial strength casters can be locked to prevent moving on the floor but can also be unlocked to allow the bed to be moved easily and effortlessly for cleaning beneath the bed or rearranging furniture. Headboards, center boards, thigh boards and foot boards are made out of 5/8" thick plywood deck, 5/8" oriented strand board and/or 5/8" thick special warp resistant core particle board with high load-carrying capability.
